Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Will you photoshop the images to remove any unwanted spots, wrinkles, food etc?

A. I want my photos to be as authentic as possible so I like to minimise editing the subject, keeping spots and wrinkles in the photos; food will however be removed. Upon request from the client(s) I am able to remove things such as spots and wrinkles but this must be mentioned prior to the beginning of post-production and editing.

Q. Is a deposit required to book my session?

A. Yes. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your slot in my diary! The remaining balance is payable in full, a minimum of two weeks prior to the photoshoot/event.

Q. Are there any additional fees that I may need to pay in addition to the photoshoot cost?

A. Additional fees may apply for photographer travel to the photoshoot/event(s), for any additional accessories you may require for your shoot, when proceedings run over the time initially agreed upon, and for any prints, albums or additional USB stick storage. All additional fees will be discussed upon booking your photoshoot/event coverage.

Q. Do I need to bring anything to my photoshoot?

A. I would advise that you bring toys or treats for your children if they are going to be a part of the photoshoot! It can sometimes be a bit overwhelming for children and they can get a bit restless. Of course I like to keep the photoshoots as simple as possible for your little ones but a little distraction can really help to get those beautiful pictures that we want! If there are any specific clothes or items that you would like in the photos, for example a specific outfit from home for a newborn shoot, then you are more than welcome to bring these items along and I will do the best that I can to include these in your shoot!

Q. Will my photos be posted onto your Social Media?

A. You have complete control over what is shared and isn't shared! Once I have shared the completed photos with you I will ask you if I can post a selection of photos and show you the ones that I would like to share!

Q. What should I wear to my photoshoot?

A. I highly recommend wearing non-branded clothes with minimal patterns. This is because branding and patterns often shift the focus away from the subjects of the photos. Wearing patternless and non-branded clothing can really improve the final outcome of the photos taken.
